Cook and Butler have our very own wedding planner. No kidding! Not only do we create the best wedding food you’ll ever try, but we have a wedding organiser who will sit down with you and help organise everything, from food to venue, from marriage celebrate to wedding cake.
Yes, if all you want is a wedding caterer (and most people do settle for just that) we are passionate about food and about making sure the food at your wedding is the best you’ve ever tasted.
We have set menus, some people like it that way. But anything can be altered. The best thing is to sit down with us, tell us what you want, and we’ll design the perfect menu for your wedding breakfast.
A sit down meal can be as cheap as $45 per head – that’s pretty good for the elegance of a Cook and Butler wedding menu; if you want to be more informal, however, and go for finger food or similar, it may be even less expensive. Once again, the best thing to do is contact us and tell us what you’d like. We can give you a quote and there’s no obligation.
Yes. All you need do is let us know what you require and we’ll take care of the rest.
We are based at the prestigious Titirangi Golf Club where we hold exclusive catering rights. However, we can cater to your wedding or event anywhere in greater Auckland.
We know what you mean. There is nothing worse than the formal wedding ceremony being interrupted by the crashing and bashing of the wedding caterers in the next room.We guarantee to arrive in plenty of time to do any setting up required and we’ll do it quickly and quietly.
Staff numbers will depend on the size of the wedding. You will be advised of all staff numbers and costs up front – no hidden surprises after the event, we promise.Oh, and by the way, our catering staff are all trained, experienced, and professional in their work and dress.
We can provide two levels of service depending on venue and menu you select.We can provide an all-inclusive service where we do everything from serving drinks and food, and cleaning everything up after your wedding is all over.Many venues provide bar staff or have duty staff to oversee the final tidy-up etc. In that case we can provide a food only service where we cook and serve food and do the basic clean-up of crockery and cutlery.Once again, we will discuss all this during the wedding planning stages.
That depends on your but, in our opinion (and we’ve done a lot of weddings) weddings tend to flow best when it goes like this:
People arrive and mingle.
Bride and groom cut the cake.
Main meal is served.
Speeches.
Dessert.
To be honest, we like it best that way too because it means we can clear the main course and (quietly) put out the dessert while the wedding speeches are going on.
Once again, we’ll discuss this at the organising stage. Usually this will be your responsibility to hire, however, we can organise this for you.
Part of our service is that, if you have hired crockery and cutlery, we wash and dry it and return it to the hire boxes. In general, we will leave things as we found them, or cleaner.Rubbish will be bagged and stacked but may be your responsibility to remove if the venue does not cater for that.
