Cook and Butler is an Auckland Catering company providing outstanding food and a catering service that is second to none. Specialising in event and corporate catering – lunch catering and dinner catering – we can handle your entire event, including set-up and serving or, using our Auckland food delivery service, you can create your own stylish, unique and memorable dining experience.

Delivered Catering

Do you drop-off or deliver food and to what area?

Yes. We have an Auckland food drop-off service delivering our quality cuisine to events throughout Greater Auckland.

Do you charge extra for food delivery?

Yes, but we try to keep our food drop-off charge to a minimum. We charge $60 to inner Auckland suburbs during normal business hours. Food delivery to outer suburbs is a little more expensive depending on where you are. Let us know the address of your event and we will give you a quote.

When do you deliver?

We deliver to corporate events and other functions anytime of the day or night, any day of the week. However, for food deliveries outside of normal hours, there may be an extra delivery charge. Let us know the food delivery details and we will provide a full quote.

Can I pick up my food order?

If you do not want to avail yourself of our Auckland food delivery service, you can collect your catering food from our kitchen at the Titirangi Golf Course, 11 Links Rd, Titirangi, Auckland. We will give you a predetermined time for pickup.

How far ahead of an event do I have to book and give final numbers?

Seven days. For Corporate Event catering and all large functions, we require a final number seven days before the event. This ensures we order and prepare adequate food for your guests.

Is there a minimum charge?

$300. There is a minimum charge of $300 for each order, plus food delivery fee and GST.

How is the food served with your drop-off catering service, and how long will it keep?

Whether your food is delivered in Auckland or you decide to pick it up, it will be packed in catering boxes that are guaranteed to keep the food in top condition and ready to serve (although some reheating may be required).

What is the food served on?

As above. The catering boxes double as serving dishes. Admittedly, some corporate catering events or functions prefer more stylish platters. The food can be easily transferred from the catering boxes and onto your own crockery.

What are the benefits of drop-off catering?

When organising a function or corporate event, there is a lot to think about. Opting for food delivery relieves you of one task and frees you up to focus on other aspects of your event. Our commitment to you is to get the food to you fresh and on time.

We take care of all your corporate catering needs. From a simple business lunch to an elegant cocktail party, or an in-house staff training session to a product launch, we have an extensive menu to choose from that will impress clients and staff alike.

Can you provide a venue and equipment for our Corporate Event?

Yes. We supply sumptuous food and beverages but can also organise a meal venue and supply all the necessary dining equipment. We can also provide serving staff.

Do you deliver food to Corporate Events in Auckland?

Yes. If you are a lunch bar or café, outsourcing your lunch menu to Cook and Butler will help you cut back on your food production costs and build your business’s reputation.

Do you provide canapés?

Yes. We can provide an excellent selection of well-priced, high quality, easy to eat canapés and finger foods. These are ideal for either a light meal or as a snack between meals.

Are your canapés suitable for corporate events or larger functions?

Yes. We can cater to any size function and our food is of a quality that is sure to impress clients and staff alike.

Can I choose my canapé menu?

Yes. We have an extensive range of food to choose from. Most people choose 5, 6, or 7 options per person, however, we can work to create a menu that fits with your special event. Click here to view our canapes menu.

Plated and Buffet Meals

Are your meals for corporate events and functions plated or buffet?

Either. The way food is presented can determine the formality of your event. For a more informal event, we can supply buffet food; or if a formal atmosphere is more desirable, we can arrange food for a seated/plated event.

What type of food do you supply for events?

We can supply food in whatever style you desire, including canapés, finger food, fork and bowl dishes, buffets, barbeques and decadent desserts. You can choose from our extensive menu range or discuss with us the type of food that best suits your planned function.

Do you have an Auckland plated and buffet food delivery service?

General Catering FAQs

Do you supply drinks as well as food?

If you require drinks, please advise at time of booking. We can provide most beverages.

Do you accommodate special dietary requirements?

Yes. We are able to accommodate for all dietary requirements. Please ensure you specify all dietary needs at the time of booking.

What are your payment terms?

Payment for orders is due once numbers are confirmed and two days before the event date.

What if I need to cancel my booking?

Within two days of your event, payment must be made in full; however, you may receive and keep the food that will have been prepared. Once the food has been ordered, there is no cancellation possible; if your event is cancelled, full payment must still be made.
